A Knap Hill and Exbury hybrid, originally bred by Anthony Waterer at his Knap Hill Nursery.
           
Introduced: 1925
Flower description: Tight rounded heads of semi-double flowers, deep carmine with paler shading. Flowers May.
Height & habit: 1.2-1.5m/4-5 ft approx. in 10 years. Homebush is a strong grower and has light green foliage followed by good autumn colour.
Uses: The bold flowers bring a splash of colour to the garden in spring and in autumn the foliage takes on rich orange/yellow hues adding further interest.

Sarina

Parentage: Ceclia x Gibraltar.
           
Introduced: 1989 by Hachmann
Flower description: Deep yellowish pink to deep pink spotted with vivid orange. Flowers May.
Height & habit: 1.2-1.5m/4-5 ft approx. in 10 years. Sarina is a strong grower and has light green foliage followed by good autumn colour.

Flower description: White flused pink with an orange flare. Flowers April/May.
