RHS AGM Parentage: catawbiense hybrid Introduced: pre 1900 Flower Description: Lilac buds open to fragrant white flowers, flushed mauve pink at the edges with a mustard coloured flare. Flowers late May/June Height & habit: 1.5m / 5ft in approx. 10 years. An evergreen, Gomer Waterer has a dense, compact rounded habit and rich green foliage. Uses: The bold flowers bring a splash of colour to a border in spring and the evergreen foliage makes a useful screen and foil for other plants for the rest of the year. |
