Parentage: fletcherianum x keiskei 'Yaku Fairy'
Introduced: 1977
Flower description: Funnel shaped clear yellow flowers, borne in compact trusses in March/April.
Height & habit: 60-100cm/24-36" approx. in 10 years.  Patty Bee makes a very compact shrub with bronze coloured foliage in winter.
Uses: Ideal for bringing spring colour and year round interest to patio containers, troughs and rock gardens. A good choice for the front of a border or planting at the base of larger growing Hardy Hybrid Rhododendrons.

Parentage: keiskei (dwarf form) x hanceanum Nanum Group
Introduced: 1978
Flower description: Yellow-green buds opening to pale yellow flowers in March/April.
Height & habit: 60-100cm/24-36” approx. in 10 years.  Shamrock has a dwarf compact and spreading habit with glossy green leaves.
Uses: Ideal for bringing spring colour and year round interest to patio containers, troughs and rock gardens. A good choice for the front of a border or planting at the base of larger growing Hardy Hybrid Rhododendrons.
